Reinforcement Learning - Good Game

I’ve built an AI agent to master complex strategy card games

At Byram Hills High School, I am enrolled in the Dr. Robert Pavlica Authentic Science Research Program. It is an intensive three-year program in which students develop and conduct a science research project from scratch. We are required to find our own mentors who must be active researchers in the respective research field.

The primary goal of my study is to engineer a strong Reinforcement Learning (RL)-based agent for the game Tales of Tribute. We hope to create a strategically competent learner that competes with the state-of-the-art whilst using little to no human knowledge.

Watch the presentation: My paper was selected for presentation at the New York Upstate Junior Science and Humanities Symposium (Feb 2025). My 5th place finish qualified me for the national competition in Chantilly, VA

We started our research projects in 10th grade. This gallery shows my presentation at the Somers High School Science Fair in (June 2023) and at the New York Upstate Junior Science and Humanities Symposium (Feb 2025).
