I play the Pokémon Trading Card game--a strategy card game with over 256,000 globally-ranked players--professionally. I've been playing the chesslike game for approximately 7-8 years now, and competing professionally for two of those years. I've been recognized as one of the world's strongest players numerous times, and my face has appeared on advertisements as far as Paris and Tokyo. Approximately once per month, I fly to a new city to play in that regional, international, or World Championships. I also run a successful coaching business and sign paid brand endorsements. |
